CosA=2/5 1/secA=2/5 (1/secA)^2=(2/5)^2 [squaring both sides] 1/sec^2A=4/25 Sec^2A=25/4 [doing reciprocal] 1+tan^2A=25/4 [since 1+ tan^2A=sec^2A] 4(1+tan^2A)=25/4 × 4 [multiplying 4 on both sides] 4+4tan^2A=25 So the value of 4+4tan^2A is 25
