Sin ¥ = 1/2 .....ii assume ¥ = phi

we know,

Sin30° = 1/2 ....iii

Cos60° = 1/2 ....iv

from 1 and iv, we get

CosØ = Cos60°

Ø = 60°

again from ii and iii, we get

Sin¥ = Sin30°

¥ = 30°

.'. Ø ÷ ¥ = 60° + 30° = 90°
