Hii friend,

Cos theta = 1/2 = Base/Hypotenuse

Base = 1 , Hypotenuse = 2

By pythagoras theroem,

(H)² = (B)² + (P)²

(2)² = (1)² + P²

P² = (2)² - (1)²

(P)² = 4-1

P = ✓3

Therefore,

Sec theta = H/B = 2/1

And,

Tan theta = P/B = ✓3/1

Therefore,

Sec theta / 1 + Tan² theta = 2/1 / 1 + (✓3/1)²

=> 2/1 / 1 + 3/1 = 2/1 × 1/4 = 1/2

HOPE IT WILL HELP YOU.... :-)
