If cos theta = 1/√2 , then find the value of cos ^2 theta - don ^2 theta

Hey mate hope it helps you...

cos = 1/2

= 45°

cos² - tan²

= 1/2 - 1

= -1/2

Theta = 45°

Cos^2theta - tan^2theta

=Cos^2 45° - tan^2 45°

= (1/√2)^2 - 1^2

= 1/2 - 1
