Hey mate here is your answer :

Cos θ = 0.5

Cos θ = 5/10

Cos θ =1/2

Cos θ = cos 60°

θ= 60 °

So cot θ = cot 60°

Therefore cot θ= 1/ √3

HOPE THIS MAY HELP YOU ✌️

I am writing theta as x because there is no theta in brainly.

 \cos(x)  = 0.5

 \cos(x)  =  \frac{1}{2}

 \cos(x)  =  \cos(60)

x = 60

Now,

 \cot(x)  =  \frac{1}{ \tan(x) }

x= 60°, so

 =  \frac{1}{ \tan(60) }

 =  \frac{1}{ \sqrt{3} }
