Given :-

Cos ∅ = 3/5

cos ∅ = base/hypotenuse

➡ 3/5 = base/hypotenuse

➡ base = 3 and hypotenuse = 5

by Pythagoras theorem, we get

➡ hypotenuse² = base² + height²

➡ 5² = 3² + height²

➡ height = √(25 - 9)

➡ height = √16 = 4

we know that,

  • cosec∅ = hypotenuse/height = 5/4

  • tan∅ = height/base = 4/3

  • sec∅ = hypotenuse/base = 5/3

  • cot∅ = 1/tan∅ = 3/4
