Proof
→sin∅ = √2 cos∅ - cos∅
→ sin∅ = (√2 - 1)cos∅
→ sin∅/(√2 - 1) = cos∅
On rationalizing we get,
→ sin∅(√2 + 1)/(2 - 1) = cos∅
→ sin∅(√2 + 1) = cos∅
→ √2 sin∅ + sin∅ = cos∅
→ cos∅ - sin∅ = √2 sin∅
