cos A= 0.5 = 1/2 therefore A = 60°

cos B = 1/√2 therefore B = 45°

(tan 60° - tan 45°)/(1 + tan 60° × tan 45°)

=> (√3 - 1)/(1 + √3*1)

=> (√3 - 1)/(√3 + 1)

=> (√3 - 1)²/(√3+1)(√3-1)

[ rationalise the denominator ]

=> ( 3 + 1 - 2√3 )/3 - 1

=> (4 - 2√3)/2

=> 2 - √3
