Trigonometry,

We have,
cosA = 3/5

Have to find cot²A - 1

Now,
sin²A + cos²A = 1
or, sin²A = 1 - cos²A
or, sin²A = 1 - 9/25
or, sin²A = 16/25
or, sinA = 4/5

As we know that ,
cotA = cosA/sinA
= (3/5)/(4/5)
= 3/4

So cot²A - 1
= 9/16 - 1
= (9 - 16)/16
= -7/16

That's it
Hope it helped (^_^メ)

agni3: Thank you so much
nobel: my pleasure
agni3: Sir isn't it 9cot^2
nobel: I am not able to get to your point
nobel: what are you saying
nobel: and there is no sir
nobel: most of brainly members are students and so as I.So don't need to call sir
