If cosA=7/25, find the value of tanA+cotA.

Cos A = adj / hypo

Cos A = 7 / 25

Opposite = 25 ^2 -7^2

= 24

TanA = opp / adj

= 24 / 7

CotA = adj / opp

= 7 / 24

24/ 7 + 7/24

=3.72

hyp^2=opp^2+adj^2

25^2=opp^2+7^2

625-49=opp^2

576=opp^2

cotA=adj/opp

      = 7/24

=) 24/7+7/24

= 168/168+168/168 [7*24=168]

= 1+1=2

therefore tanA+cotA=2
