hello friend your answer is here ✌✌

cos B = 3/5

we know that secB = 1/cosB

so secB = 5/3

sec²B = 25/9

sec²B - 1 = 25/9 - 1

sec²B - 1 = 16/9

thanks ☺☺

Solution ...

cos B = 3/5

we know that :-

sec B = 1/cosB

So, sec B = 5/3.

 { \sec}^{2} b  \:  - 1 \\  \\  =  { (\frac{5}{3} )}^{2}  - 1 \\  \\  =  \frac{25}{9}  - 1 \\  \\
 =  \frac{25 - 9}{9}  \\  \\  =  \frac{16}{9} ..........is \: the \: required \: answer \: of \: your \: question.........

Hope this will help you...
