Given cosec 240 = x.

          cosec(180 + 60) = x

We know that cosec(180 + theta) = -cosec theta.

- cosec 60 = x

- \frac{2}{ \sqrt{3} } = x

Hope this helps!

Cosec240° = x

=> x = Cosec240°

=> x = Cosec(180°+60°)

=> x = - Cosec60°

=> x = -2/√3
