❄❄❄❄ EXPLANATION ❄❄❄❄

➡ Given, cosec theta - cot theta = r.

➡ We also know that cosec²theta-cot²theta = 1.

➡ Firstly, we had showed that cosec theta + cot theta = 1/r.

➡ We added equation (I) amd (II) and collected the value of cosec theta. So, its reverse will be the value of sin theta. Thus, we get the value of sin theta.

➡ We too know, sin²theta+cos²theta=1.

➡ We found the value of cos theta by applying that formula.

➡ Then, we know, tan theta = sin theta/cos theta.

➡ We apply and get our result (Here, tan theta = 2r/r²-1)

➡ Thus, the above numerical of trigonometry is solved.
