Step-by-step explanation:

Given that,

cosec theta= 13/5

So, Hypotenuse= 13 cm

Perpendicular= 5 cm

Base= 12 cm (By Pythagoras Theorem)

Now, tan theta= Perpendicular/Base

= 5/12

And, cot theta= Base/Perpendicular

= 12/5

Step-by-step explanation:

Given

 \cosec  \theta =  \frac{13}{5}

H = 13

P = 5

B = ?

By using pytagoras theroem. .

 {H }^{2}  =  {</p><p>P }^{2}  +  {B}^{2} </p><p>

 {13}^{2}  =  {5}^{2}  +  {B}^{2}

169 - 25 =  {B}^{2}

144 =  {B}^{2}

B =  \sqrt{144}

B = 12

Therefore,

 \tan \theta =  \frac{p}{b}  =  \frac{5}{12}

And

 \cot \theta =  \frac{b}{p}  =  \frac{12}{5}

  • I hope it's help
