Solve this system of equations
cosx+sinx=√2cosx (1)
cosx−sinx=√2T (2)
Add up the 2 equations:
2cosx=√2(cosx+T)
Divide both sides by √2:
√2cosx=cosx+T
T=√2cosx−cosx
From equation (1), we find: --> T = sin x. Proved
