Given,

cot A = tan(A+10)

Then the value of A = ?

Now convert cot in the terms of tan.

cot can be written as tan(90-A)

substitute tan(90-A) in the place of cot.

tan(90-A) = tan(A+10)

on both sides tan gets cancel.

90-A = A+10

90-10=A+A

80=2A

A = 80/2

A = 40.

THEREFORE THE VALUE OF A IS 40.
