Given :   cov(x,y)=25, Standard deviation of x is 5, Standard deviation of y is 6,

To Find : coefficient of correlation r

Solution:

Correlation coefficient = cov (x,y)/ (std deviation (x) ×std deviation (y))

=>  r =  25/ (5 * 6)

=> r = 5/6

coefficient of correlation r = 5/6
