Let the C.P of 15 articles be x
Then, C.P of 1 article = x/15

And, S.P of 18 articles = x
Then, S.P of 1 articles = x/18

Loss = C.P - S.P
= x/15 - x/18
=(6x - 5x)/90
=x/90

So, loss% = loss/cp * 100
=x/90 ÷ x/15 * 100
=x/90 * 15/x * 100
=50/3 %
=16.666%
