hyy friend here is ur answer
.
...
.
..
25*cp = 30*sp
Express the selling price in terms
of cost price:
sp = (25/30)cp
Your loss percentage is the ratio
of the difference in prices to cost
price:
(cp - sp)/cp
(cp - (25/30)cp)/cp
cp(1 - (25/30))/cp
1 - (25/30)
16.7% loss ans.

let CP for each chair be 100.
therefore CP = 25X100= 2500
therefore SP of 30 chairs = 2500
SP of 1 chair = 2500/30=83(approximated)
therefore loss = 100-83=17%
therefore CP = 25X100= 2500
therefore SP of 30 chairs = 2500
SP of 1 chair = 2500/30=83(approximated)
therefore loss = 100-83=17%
