According to the question,

8CP = 6SP

=> SP = 8 ÷ 6 CP

=> SP = 4/3 CP

Gain = SP - CP

Gain Percentage =

 \frac{Gain}{CP} \times 100

 = \frac{(SP - CP)}{CP} \times 100

 = \frac{( \frac{4}{3} CP - CP)}{CP} \times 100

 = \frac{( \frac{4 - 3}{3} CP)}{CP} \times 100

 = {( \frac{1}{3} CP)} \times \frac{1}{CP} \times 100

 = \frac{100}{3}

 = 33.333

Hence, gain percentage is equals to 33.333%.

Answer:

If CP of 8 articles is equal to SP of 6 articles, then the gain% is 33.33%.

Step-by-step explanation:

Consider C.P of 8 articles = S.P of 6 articles =₹48

So the C.P of 1 article =48/8=₹6

S.P of 1 article =48/6=₹8

We know that

Gain= S.P  –C.P

Substituting the values

=8–6

=₹2

Gain percent =(gain×100)/C.P

Substituting the values

=(2×100)/6

= 33.33%
