csa of cylinder is 440

i.e. 2 × pi × r × h = 440

. . 2 × 22/7 × r × h =440

44/7 × r × h = 440

r × h = 440 × 7/44

r × h = 10 × 7

r × h = 70-----(1)

volume is 3080

i.e. pi × r2 × h = 3080

22/7 × r × r × h = 3080

22/7 × r × 70 = 3080

22/7 × 70 × r = 3080

22 × 10 × r = 3080

220 × r = 3080

r = 3080 ÷ 220

r = 14-----(2)

but...

r × h = 70

14 × h = 70-----from (1) and (2)

h = 70 ÷ 14

h = 5
