Let the current be x

Increement = 100%

New current = x+x = 2x

\rule{200}{2}

Let the resistance be y

Increement =100%

New Resistance = y+y = 2y

\rule{200}{2}

We know that:-

From Joule's Law of Heating :-

HEAT = CURRECT^2 * RESISTANCE * TIME

H = I^2 RT

\rule{200}{2}

Initial Heat evolved will be :-

\bold{I^{2}RT}

\rule{200}{2}

After Increement :-

Heat Evolved will be:-

\bold{H =(2I)^2(2R)T}\\ \\ \\ \\ \bold{8I^2RT}

\rule{200}{2}

Hence,

The Heat generated through the conductor will become 8 times of the initial heat generation.
