Given :  d (A,B) = d(A,C) + d(B,C)

To Find :  the betweenness of the points A, B and C is

Solution:

d (A,B) = d(A,C) + d(B,C)

=> d (A,B) = d(A,C) + d(C,B)

Hence A and B are the extreme points

C is common point hence

C is in between A and B

A ____C ______B

or

B ____C   _____A

Hence  betweenness of the points A, B and C is    C
