Let's

Take a Square ABCD

Side be 'S' then, AB = BC = CD = DA = S cm

Diagonals ➝ AC = BD = 13cm

✯ All the angles of a Square are 90°

Now, Take a ∆le ACB

Angle B = 90° & AC is the Hypothenuse

By using Pythogras Theorem

$\boxed{\sf{(Hypothenuse)² = (Side)²+(Side)²}}$

$→\;{(13)² = S²+S²}$

$→\;{169 = 2S²}$

$→\;{\frac{169}{2} = S²}$

$→\;{S = \sqrt{\frac{169}{2}}}$
