let fraction be=x/y
A.T.Q
=(x+y)/(y-x)=11/3. ______1
y-x=3
x=y-3 (given) _____2
from1&2
(y+y-3)/(y-(y-3))=11/3
(2y-3)/(y-y+3)=11/3
(2y-3)/3=11/3
after cross multiply
2y-3=11×3/3
2y-3=11
2y=11-3
y=8/2
y=4
putting the value of y in eq.___2
x=4-3
x=1
so,fraction is=x/y=1/4

Answer:

let fraction = x / y

A.T.Q

( x+y ) / ( y -x ) = 11/ 3

y-x=3

x = y -3

(y +y -3) / y -( y -3 )=11/3

(2y-3) / (y -y +3) =11/3

2y-3 /3 =11/3

2y-3=11

2y =14

y =7

y-x=3

7-x=3

x =4

Fraction =x/y

4/7
