diagonal of a quadrilateral divide it into two traingles

according to the question : sum of the area of two traingles will be the area of quadrilateral

so, area of traingle with base 7cm and height 3.5 cm = 1/2×3.5×7=12.25cm²

area of traingle with base 7cm and height 2.5 cm =1/2×7×2.5=8.75cm²

therefore area of quadrilateral =12.25cm²+8.75cm²=21cm²
