we know, diagonal ^2 = side^2 + side^2

diagonal^2 = 2side^2

12√2 ^2 = 2 × side ^2

288 = 2 side^2

144 = side^2

so, side = 12cm

Now , we know that perimeter is sum of all sides and all sides of square are equal.

so, perimeter = 12+12+12+12

= 48 cm
