Step-by-step explanation:

Given,

Diagonal of a Square = \sf\sqrt{2}cm

To Find :-

Perimeter of the Square

Solution :-

We know that :-

Diagonal of a Square = \sf\sqrt{2}\timesSide of a Square.

According to Question , Diagonal of a Square = \sf\sqrt{2}cm

 \implies \sqrt{2}  =  \sqrt{ 2}  \times side

side =  \dfrac{ \sqrt{2} }{ \sqrt{2} }

side = 1cm

Since, Side of a Square = 1cm

Formula Required :-

Perimeter of a Square = 4\sf\timesSide of a Square

 = 4 \times 1cm

= 4cm

\sf\therefore Perimeter of a Square = 4cm
