If diameter of road roller is 0.9 m and its length is 1.4 m, how much area of field will be pressed in it ratations?

          radius,r=0.9/2m

           height,h=1.4m

the area covered in 1 rotation= 

                                                   =

                                                   =3.96m                                                 

the area covered in 500 rotation=3.96*500

                                                   =1980m

Answer: Diameter = 0.9 m

Radius = 0.9/2 = 0.45 m

Length or Height = 1.4 m

L.S.A of a cylinder = 2πrh

= 2 X 22/7 X 0.45 X 1.4

= 44 X 0.45 X 0.2

= 44 X 0.09

= 3.96 m

3.96 m = 396 cm

In 1 rotation of field, 3.96 m can be pressed
