  • Time taken ( t ) = 2 sec

Thus ,

  • Velocity = Displacement ÷ Time
  • Velocity = t² + 1 / t
  • Velocity = 2² + 1 / 2
  • Velocity = 4 + 1 / 2
  • Velocity = 5 / 2
  • Velocity = 2.5 unit / sec.

if the body is moving along x - axis,

Then ,

  • Velocity = dx / dt
  • Velocity = 2 x 2
  • Velocity = 4 unit / sec.
