If distance between Rishikesh to Chandigarh is 224km and the given scale is 1cm = 28km. Find the distance on map? *

soln.....

total distance = 224 km

distance for 1cm = 28 km

total distance in map = total distance/distance for one cm

= 224/28

= 8 cm....in map
