If distance travelled by a train is 495 km in 4 hours 30 minutes,what is its speed?​

Answer:

time = 4.5

speed= distance/time

= 495÷4.5

= 110 km/hr...

since 30 mins is equal to half hours we can also write o.5 also.

or instead of 4.5 we can also take 9/2 also.....

we also change the distance in meters and time in second...

so distance in meters will be 495000m.

and time will be 270×60=16200sec...

the answer will be in meters per second.

so if u want to convert it into km per hr.

just multiple it by 18/5....
