if distilled water is poor conductor then why it is used in Home inverter for producing electricity?​

Explanation:

These lead acid batteries have dilute sulphuric acid as their electrolyte - the conductive solution between the plates of battery. But we pour only water into the inverter because only water is lost form the battery due to a process called gassing. Thus, the water need not be conductive.
