if divisor =4x-7,quotient x+1 remainder =0 then what is the dividend

Answer:

(Dividend  - Remainder) ÷ Divisor = Quotient

⇒Dividend  - Remainder = Quotient × Divisor

⇒Dividend = Quotient × Divisor + Remainder

                  = (x+1)(4x-7) + 0

                  = (x+1)(4x-7)

                  = 4x² - 7x +4x - 7

⇒Dividend = 4x² - 3x - 7
