Answer:

6x + 5x + 4x + 30⁰ = 180⁰

Therefore 15x= 150

Which gives x= 10

So the angles are : 70⁰, 50⁰ and 60⁰ respectively

Given :   Each angle of a triangle is decreased by 10°

ratio of three resultant angles will be 6:4:5

To Find : The greatest angle of the triangle?

A) 50⁰ B) 60⁰ C) 70⁰ D)80⁰

Solution:

After Decreasing Each angle by 10°  the angle are

6x , 4x and 5x

So originally angles in degrees are

6x + 10 , 4x + 10  , 5x + 10

Sum of angles of a triangle is 180°

=> (6x + 10)° + (4x + 10)° + (5x + 10)° =  180°

=> 15x° + 30° = 180°

=> 15x° = 150°

=> x = 10

Largest angle is (6x + 10)°   = 6(10°) + 10° = 70°

Correct option is C) 70°
