if each edge of a cube is doubled .How many times will it's surface area increase?​

let the edge of the cube be 'a'

formula to find the surface area of a cube is 6 × side² = 6a²

therefore, no. of times the surface area will increase = 6a²/a

= (6 × a × a)/a

= 6a

hence, it's surface area will increase 6a times.
