The surface Area of cuboid is 6(edge)^2=54
Edge=√9=3cm
A/Q,
New edge=6cm.
Surface Area=6(6)^2

=6(36)

=216cm^2.

Hope this will help u

\bold{216 \mathrm{cm}^{2}} is the new cuboid’s surface area.

To find:

The value of surface area of the new cuboids.

Solution:

Formula for “Surface Area of Cuboids” is =2(lb+bh+hl)

Let,

l=b=h=x.

Such that Surface Area =2(x \times x+x \times x+x \times x)

=2\left(3 \times x^{2}\right)

=6 \times x^{2}

Given the surface area =54 \mathrm{cm}^{2} , such that

6 \times x^{2}=54

x^{2}=9

X =3, such that edge value of cuboid is 3cm.

To find the new value cuboid if the edge is doubles, such that surface area,

=6 \times x^{2}

=6 \times 6 \times 6

=216 \mathrm{cm}^{2}
