Given:-

The figure is of a regular polygon

The interior angle is double the exterior angle

Need to find:-

The sides of the polygon

Solution:-

Sum of exterior angles = 360°

As the interior angles are double the exterior angles, they will be = 2 × 360° = 720°

180° ( n - 2 ) = 720°. ( n = no. of sides )

180n - 360° = 720°

180n = 720° + 360°

180n = 1080°

n = 1080/180

n = 6

Conclusion:-

therefore, the sides of the polygon are 6 and it is a hexagon.
