If each of the charges doubles, what happens to the force?

If you are talking about electric force:

F =\frac{kq_{1}q_{2}}{r^{2} }

now as you can see in the formula itself, force is directly proportional to the product of the magnitude of two charges ,

if you double both charges, force will become four times its initial value.
