let the third angle be x degree

∴ the equal angles of an isosceles triangle will be 2x degree

ATP

⇒ 2x +2x x =180 degree   [ sum of the angles of a triangle  is 180 degree]

∴5x =180 degree

x=   36 degree ANS

∴ the equal angles of an isosceles triangle =2*36 =72 degree
