mean =  \frac{sum \: o f \: observations}{no. \: of \: obervations}

sum of observation=(6/4)+(18/4)+(25/4)+(14/4)+(17/4)

=(6+18+25+14+17)/4

=(80/4)

=20

mean =  \frac{20}{5}  \\  = 4
