here is ur lovingly sister
and your answer goes like this
are of traingle = 1/2 × b × h
so now according to 1st figure
area = 1/2 × h × y = hy /2
now according to 2nd figure when sides are doubled we get
area = 1/2 × h × 2y = 2hy/2 = hy
so in 1st case area = hy/2
in 2nd case area = hy
thus, we can say that area is doubled when sides are doubled
