Let the side of the triangle be x cm.

so, the area is √3/4× x² cm²

each side of the triangle is increased by 2 cm.

so, the side will be x+2 cm.

now, the area is √3/4×(x+2)². cm²

now, √3/4×(x+2)²-√3/4× x² = 3√3

or, √3/4 (x²+4x+4-x²) = 3√3
or, 4x+4 = 3√3×4/√3
or, 4(x+1 )= 12
or, x+1 = 3
or, x= 2

so, the the length of its side is 2cm.

and, the area of the triangle = √3/4 × 2² cm²

= √3/4 ×4 cm² = √3 cm²
