If each side of cube is doubled ,how many times will its surface area increase?

Substitute values
Take cube's one side area
YxY so y=1
1x1=1so 1x6=6(total surface area)
Then take 2Y
2x2=4
4x6=24
So now to get the answer we need to divide 2nd one from 1st one
24/6=4
