Let the breadth of cuboid be=B units
Let the height of cuboid be = H units.
Now, given that each edge is increased by 20 %
So following changes takes place.
Length = 1.2 L units
Breadth = 1.2B units
Height = 1.2 H units
Volume of cuboid = L*B*H
So the new volume = 1.2 L * 1.2B * 1.2H
= 1.728(L*B*H)
=1.728 of original cuboid
So the volume got increased by 72.8%
