The altitude of  an equilateral triangle(h) = 9 units

Step-by-step explanation:

Given,

Each side of equilateral triangle(a) = 6\sqrt{3} unit

To find, the altitude of  an equilateral triangle(h) = ?

We know that,

The altitude of  an equilateral triangle(h) = \dfrac{\sqrt{3}}{2}.a

=\dfrac{\sqrt{3}}{2}.6\sqrt{3}

=\sqrt{3}.3\sqrt{3}

= 3 × 3 units

= 9 units

∴ The altitude of  an equilateral triangle(h) = 9 units

Thus, the altitude of  an equilateral triangle(h) is equal to 9 units.
