Answer:

LET  SIDES OF TRIANGLE ARE ==> 3 , 5 , 6

SO, PERIMETER ==> (3+5+6) ==> 14 CM

IF SIDES WILL DOUBLE

==> 6 , 10 , 12

SO, PERIMETER ==> 6+10+12 ==> 28 CM

SO, IF EACH SIDE OF TRIANGLE IS DOUBLED THEN PERIMETER OF TRIANGLE IS ALSO DOUBLED

If each sides of a triangle is doubled, then the perimeter of triangle also gets doubled

Solution:

The perimeter of triangle is given as:

Perimeter = sum of all three sides

Let "x", "y", "z" be the length of sides of triangle

Then, perimeter of triangle is:

Old Perimeter = x + y + z -------- eqn 1

Each sides of a triangle is doubled

Therefore, sides becomes, 2x, 2y, 2z

Now perimeter is given as:

New Perimeter = 2x + 2y + 2z

New Perimeter = 2(x + y + z)

Substitute eqn 1

New Perimeter = 2(Old perimeter )

Thus, if each sides of a triangle is doubled, then the perimeter of triangle also gets doubled
