If earth stops rotation then how would it effect our life

if earth stops rotation then we will didn't knew that it stopped.... but it will effect.... we know that sun has a fixed path...... when earth will stop... then the area... which is facing sun... then that part of the earth will always face hotter part....and the backward or other dark part of the earth will always face night... and will always be cold .........

If the earth stop rotation suddenly, the atmosphere would still be in motion with the Earth's original 1100 mile/hour rotation speed at the equator. All of the land masses would be scoured clean of anything not attached to bedrock.
