then area will be 6 ×4a square

divide 24 a2 / 6a2
= 4 times
so if edge of side is doubled then area will increase 4 times

if sides double of cube

A' = 6(2a)²

A' = 4× (6a²)

from equation (1) we can write

A' = 4 A
