If electrical conductivity increases with the increase of temperature of a substance then that substance is a semiconductor.

- The electrical conductivity of a substance is dependent on the electrical resistance of that substance.

The increasing resistance of the substance will decrease the amount of electrical conductivity of that substance and the reverse thing is also applicable.

- Now,with the increasing temperature the number of free electrons increase in the semiconductors which will gradually decrease the resistance of the semiconductors.

- And,with the decreasing resistance the electrical conductivity increases.

For this reason,we see an increase of the electrical conductivity in the semiconductor materials when the temperature increases.
